TRUST THE LOKI HAS BECOME MORE THAN LOKI’S FOOD JOURNEY POST MASTERCHEF AUSTRALIA. IT IS NOW A SOCIAL ENTERPRISE THAT EXISTS TO create inclusive culinary communities and EMPOWER OTHER INDIVIDUALS WITH A PASSION FOR FOOD AND AN INSPIRING CULINARY DREAM. OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS WE HAVE EVOLVED THIS PROJECT FROM A PERSONAL PASSION PROJECT TO ONE THAT CAN CREATE IMPACT AND BUILD COMMUNITY.

TRUST THE LOKI HAS BEEN CO FOUNDED BY WIFE ISHANI AND I. ISHANI HAS REALLY BEEN INSTRUMENTAL IN TAKING MY PASSION AND CREATING A REALLY POWERFUL MISSION OUT OF IT. TOGETHER WE HAVE FORMED OUR FLAGSHIP PROJECT - THE FELLOWSHIP, A CULINARY SCHOLARSHIP AND MENTORING PROGRAM THAT HAS BEEN OPERATIONAL SINCE 2019. WE ARE BOTH BELIEVERS OF COLLABORATIVE CREATION AND THE YEAR 2020 MADE IT ALL VERY CLEAR TO US THAT WE MUST WORK TOGETHER TO FIND SOLUTIONS TO BIG, AUDACIOUS PROBLEMS. ISHANI IS AN EXPERIENCED ENTREPRENEUR, EARLY STAGE INVESTOR AND ABOVE ALL A PASSIONATE MENTOR FOR MANY START-UPS. Ishani grew up in India and Melbourne and has a career spanning over 22+ years across India/South Asia, Australia, USA, UK and with a focus on strategic advisory, enterprise development, investment and innovation. Ishani has mentored and/or worked with 150+ start-ups and SMEs both in Australia and internationallY.

ISHANI HAS A MIND OF AN ENGINEER AND A HEART OF A REFORMIST. SHE HAS A DEGREE IN Chemical Engineering and Science from the University of Melbourne, Australia and holds an MBA degree from the London Business School, UK AND A Chazen Fellow AT Columbia Business School, New York. ISHANI IS PASSIONATE ABOUT CREATING A WORLD THAT’S INCLUSIVE, EQUITABLE AND SUSTAINABLE.

MORE ABOUT LOKI

born in Mysore, India and brought up in Chennai. LOKI’S heart has always been in food. HIS earliest food memory is when HE was about 6 cooking crabs with HIS grandmother in HIS backyard. at age 8 he had a serious fall and severe brain injury and during the long recovery HE cooked a lot at home. loki wanted to go to culinary school at age 19 but due to family pressures HE couldn’t. HE ended up studying Information technology and moved to Australia to dO HIS Masters but never felt the passion THAT HE feelS when HE cookS for others.

So, at age 35, HE resigned from HIS job and applied to MasterChef Australia and managed to get selected. Therein started HIS culinary career.  SINCE MASTERCHEF LOKI SPENT A MONTH IN GAGGAN, BANGKOK THAT SEALED HIS LOVE FOR WORKING IN THE KITCHEN. HE WENT TO DO SEVERAL POP UPS AND COLLABORATIONS IN AUSTRALIA, INDIA AND BALI.LOKI SET UP THE FELLOWSHIP WITH HIS WIFE ISHANI IN 2019 AND CONTINUES TO WORK PASSIONATELY TOWARDS BUILDING A PLATFORM FOR NEXT-GEN CULINARY CREATORS.
